What is OMCL?
OMCL is a small, senior product studio in Bengaluru, India, founded in 2019. We design and build mobile apps, web platforms and AI products for founders, and we ship our own products, Kharch and decent.cv, alongside client work. You talk directly to the people writing the code, not an account manager.
What does OMCL build?
OMCL builds mobile apps in React Native, web platforms in Next.js, and AI features on top of real backends: APIs, data models and LLM features with evals. One team covers product design, frontend, backend, infrastructure, analytics and SEO, so a founder gets the whole product rather than one slice of it.
How long does it take OMCL to build a first version?
A typical first version launches in about six weeks. Week one is discovery and a written scope. A clickable prototype follows in week two, backend and AI work runs from week three, and deployment, analytics and SEO land in weeks five and six. Larger products take longer, and we say so in week one.
How does an engagement with OMCL work?
An OMCL engagement starts with a call and a one-week discovery that ends in a plan and a scope. From week two we release every week, so you see working software, not status reports. The same small team designs, builds and deploys, and there are no handoffs between agencies or departments.
Does OMCL stay on after launch?
Yes. OMCL launches with you and stays for maintenance, weekly releases and on-call. We have worked on Struck, an AI building-compliance platform in the Netherlands, for three years and are still shipping to it. The infrastructure and the pipeline are yours, not ours.
Does OMCL work with founders outside India?
Yes. OMCL works from Bengaluru with founders in India, Europe and the United States. Our working hours overlap IST, CET and EST every working day. Founders in India can meet us in person in Bengaluru and are quoted in rupees.
What has OMCL shipped?
OMCL has shipped Struck, an AI building-compliance platform for a client in the Netherlands, with over 5,000 users and more than 50 releases. We also built and run two products of our own: Kharch, an app for splitting shared expenses, and decent.cv, a web CV builder. For clients in India, OMCL built the Inducreation website and the Pass Me Summore online store.
